Troop 13 celebrates 93 years of Scouting with three new Eagle Scouts

June 1982, Steven shares a moment from his Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

Currently serving as the National Commander for the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), which is a veteran's service organization comprised of combat wounded veterans.

Bram Duffee recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University.

Joseph and Michael are the first in their family to be Eagle Scouts.

Torben recently passed the CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse) Exam and now is in the Board of Certified Emergency Nurses "High Five" Club. He is the 98th Emergency Nurse to hold all five of the board's professional nursing designations.

Duane has returned home, where he earned his Eagle, to volunteer as the charted org rep for two local units. He has served the Missouri VFW State Scouting Team for the past fifteen years.

In September 2023, Abigail Sue joined her two brothers and father as an Eagle Scout. In addition to being Eagles, all four family members are Vigil Honor members of Itibapishe Iti Hollo Lodge.

The Matl family has recently added a fourth Eagle Scout.

October 10th, 2023, Quivira Council invited our Eagle Scout Alumni to gather and fellowship.

Twin Brother Eagles Scouts attended a Section Conclave together.

LTC Rich Cassem retired from the U.S. Army and now serves as the Senior Army Instructor for Shikellamy School District in Sunbury and Northumberland, Pennsylvania.

At 61, Paul earned his Master of Science in Project Management degree in October 2022. He plans new his degree to teach at the university level.

A Coast Guard Academy graduate has retired as a Captain after 28 1/2 years of active duty. He commanded two Coast Guard Cutters and an R&D prototype ship.

COL Benitez has returned from two recent deployments to the Middle East and from ARNORTH, serving as Chief of Professional Services. He is now working as US Army North Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer for Tennessee.

Robert 'Bob' Beggs receives the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award from the Chester County Council. Bob is joined by his wife, Erin, and Distinguished Eagle Scout Gary Schroeder, May 2022.

Dr. Tim Hoyt was appointed to the Senior Executive Service and serves as the Deputy Director for Force Resiliency in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness.

Four generations of Eagle Scouts from the Bell/ Centracchio Family.

The journey started by Robert Morell, Scoutmaster 1982-1988.

Nicholas is joined by family members at his Eagle Court of Honor. He becomes the eighth Eagle in his family spanning two generations.

A troop and its charted partner, Eden Church, trace their history back to the 1920s. Troop 31 recently decided to celebrate their 100th Eagle Scout, with fourteen Eagle Scouts in attendance.

Keith earned both his Eagle Scout and graduated from High School in 2023. He spent the summer working at Camp Chawanakee and is now attending nursing school.

NESA Life Member Stephen Spratt and his wife Christine are pleased to welcome and congratulate their son Logan as Katahdin Area Council's newest Eagle Scout and now NESA Life Member!

PFC Jonathan Roberts had a busy 2022, graduating high school, earning Eagle, and graduating basic training from Paris Island Marine Corps training base.
